Alignment with Other National Programs
Many of the measures included in the Leapfrog Hospital Survey are in use by other national agencies and organizations including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the CDC's National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), and The Joint Commission.

The Leapfrog Hospital Survey Webinar Series is designed for Survey coordinators, hospital leaders, and others who would benefit from a more interactive presentation of Survey materials and information. The Webinar Series is held monthly from March to December and includes monthly office hours in addition to monthly webinars.
Leapfrog's Rating Programs
Leapfrog rates hospitals through its two main initiatives: the Leapfrog Hospital Survey and the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. If you receive hospital communications from Leapfrog, you may have seen information on both of these programs, perhaps even around the same time.

The Leapfrog Group Featured in Modern Healthcare
St. Bernard Hospital is an independent safety-net hospital on Chicago’s South Side. Through two years of complete dedication to patient safety, the hospital moved from an "F" to an "A" on the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.
The hospital's CFO Robert Springer said: “We try to prioritize patient safety and quality while budgeting because without quality, reliable care for patients, there is no need for anything else. The ramifications and costs of providing poor quality care far outweigh the costs of safety initiatives.”
